Indications for Use
- Venous and diabetic ulcers
- Pressure injuries
- Partial- and full-thickness wounds
- Surgical wounds
- Trauma wounds (abrasions, lacerations, tears)
- Second-degree burns
- Tunneling or undermining wounds
Contraindications
Not intended for use on third- or fourth-degree burns.
How to Apply
- Cleanse the wound area thoroughly.
- Apply PluroGel directly to the wound bed or to a secondary dressing.
- Use 3mm thickness for lightly draining wounds and 5mm for moderately draining wounds.
- Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing.
- Change dressing daily or as needed, up to a maximum of 3 days.
Storage and Handling
- Store at room temperature.
- Keep the jar closed when not in use to maintain product integrity.
